Columbia County is Open for Business

CIWL-rotating

Columbia County citizens are passionate about community. We love where we live – that’s why we’re here.  Our merchants enjoy meeting new customers and helping them get to know the places, events, and businesses that make us who we are, and now we all have a new tool to use in finding them.

Across the County, businesses of all kinds have embraced the Keep it Local Columbia County campaign. Check it out for yourself. Our website includes not only merchants & service professionals but under the “Events” tab, there is a listing of things for you and your family to do.

More and more people are exploring our County and we invite our local folks to do the same. Enjoying the great outdoors is easy in Columbia County with our many parks, river access for boating and fishing, 2 disk golf courses, several regular golf courses, sports fields and a number of campground choices. Summer concerts in our parks draw people from all over, but also provide those of us who live here with great, free, musical evenings under the stars.

Every town in the County is worth exploring. Each has different amenities to offer, whether it’s great shopping, historic buildings, fascinating stories, waterfront walks, public art, restaurants, bakeries or places to walk, bike and play.

Hoping to find out what’s going on in the community? Check our “Events” tab. Anyone can post events on the calendar and it’s great information to use in planning your weekends. Promoting local events helps connect our community.

Do  you need to find a lawn maintenance company? Maybe you’re looking for a local yoga studio, dentist or service club. Or maybe it’s a good restaurant, bakery or movie theater you’re trying to find.
