Cycle Columbia County

Join us on a fully supported bicycle odyssey through the scenic back roads of beautiful Columbia County in NW Oregon – June 15, 2019. The ride will start and finish in Clatskanie Oregon. Registration and packet pickup begin at 6 AM and the course opens at 6:30 AM. The ride will be equipped with aid stations spaced approximately 20 miles apart. Aid stations will have a restroom, snacks and water. There will also be a couple of roving SAG vehicles as well as a handful of official ride support personnel out on the course to help. The Columbia Century Challenge will once again showcase both a Century and a Metric Century. Course information can be found by clicking here . Registration is now open.

Columbia County features some great, bicycle-friendly back roads, from rolling paved roads through the old Oregon timberlands to farms, alongside open fields and pastures and the majestic Columbia River. The historic un-paved Crown-Zellerbach trail is soon to be joined in Vernonia with the Vernonia-Banks Linear Trail. Add charming rural towns, and you have the perfect backdrop for a fun and epic bike ride and an instant classic!
