Every month starts a new session. Email or call to reserve space in 9:00 AM class or 10:00 AM class. Slow and gentle Sun (soon) style Tai Chi sequences and Qigong exercises to improve strength, balance, mobility, postural alignment and mindfulness to help relieve pain, reduce stress and cultivate the flow of Qi energy. Participate at your comfort level. Modifications (including chair support) are provided. Appropriate for individuals with arthritis and other chronic conditions and to reduce the risk of falls. Wear clothing easy to move in and sneakers or flat, flexible fitness-type shoes.
Instructor: LaNay Eastman, Tai Chi for Health Institute Certified Instructor since 2015. The Administration on Aging (AoA) has rated the TCHI Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevent (TCA) program as the highest evidence-based program for older adults and wellness.
