Port of Columbia County Town Hall: NEXT Renewable Fuels

The Port is hosting a Town Hall for citizens to learn more and ask questions about NEXT Renewable Fuels (https://nextrenewables.com), the proposed green diesel facility at Port Westward in Clatskanie. NEXT wants to lease 90 acres from the Port and invest over $1 billion to build a facility that, if approved by the Port, would employ more than 200 skilled local workers, providing both paid training and family-wage jobs.
