Quiet awake time can be more beneficial than sleep!
Restorative yoga is a practice that utilizes props (such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks) to fully support the body while allowing the mind to rest, too.
With all the expectations we place upon ourselves, and general daily stresses of life- let’s take some time to close our eyes and take some deep breaths-calming the nervous system, decreasing stress hormones, heart rate and blood pressure. A regular restorative practice can lead to increased concentration, whole body relaxation, and an overall feeling of well-being. ❤️✨
Participants can expect a bit of movement, but mostly a passive setting for 75min from 6pm-715pm. This session will allow time to reflect on intentions & pursuits of the new year.
