Clatskanie Senior Citizens & The Thomas J. Flippin House

The Clatskanie Senior Citizens, Inc. owns the Thomas J. Flippin House National Historic Preservation Site, locally known as The Castle. The Victorian mansion serves multiple functions. The ground-floor basement level is the senior citizen meal site where lunch is served Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 12 noon, and various activities are held. The upper two floors are beautifully furnished in Victorian antiques and serve as a special event venue, local history museum, and B&B.
