A little over seven years ago I started making my own soap with lard from our hogs & tallow from the steers we raised. Artisan soap has always been a favorite of mine but I wanted to start having more control over the ingredients used by creating my own.
Last year on April 17th, 2021 I officially launched Fleetside Soap Co, sending my creations further out into the world. Although I was filled with so much anxiety & dread, the response blew me away.
From recipe development to lard I render myself, milk from the goats I raise to the herbs & plants from the gardens & our land, they are truly creations that I have thrown my whole self into. Over the past year I have created seasonal bars & shop staples, as well as adding vegan bars & herb infused solid lotions! Not to mention dish bars!
My mission as always is to reduce plastic waste & create products are free from added EO’s & fragrances.
