MOM of Columbia County is a nonprofit organization in Columbia County, Oregon. Our mission is to work within the local community to improve the lives of mothers and babies.
Our menu of services will include services such as:
-Breastfeeding support group meetings
-Breastfeeding class facilitated by IBCLC lactation consultant
-Babywearing class
-Lending Library of baby carriers
-Positive parenting
-Nutrition information & meal planning
-Safety, First Aid, & infant/child/adult CPR
-Cloth diapering basics
-Creating a household budget
-Getting out of debt seminar
-Self defense course
-Car seat safety basics
-Car seat installation checks facilitated by qualified CPST
We will offer essential items to mothers and children within our community:
– Clothing: a free used clothing closet that families may shop from for free. Supported by the community, for the community.
– Bed & bedding: New and used
– Car Seats: New only (pending grant money)
