Have you heard of the Catch the Holiday Spirit Campaign? The Keep It Local Columbia County committee is implementing this program in Scappoose, St Helens, Rainier, Clatskanie & Vernonia. The program starts on Nov 19th for Shoppers until Dec 28th, 2016.
Catch the Holiday Spirit Campaign is a program modeled off Clatskanie Chamber. Nancy Romero Bowers, a local videographer, created this short less than 2-minute video to explain the 2015 Catch the Holiday Spirit Campaign across Columbia County.
There are two major differences this year from the video otherwise, it provides an excellent explanation of the program.
The first is the program is County Wide, not just Clatskanie & Rainier. The 2016 Spirit Cards can be turned in this year once you spend $200 at participating businesses across Columbia County. In 2015, you had to fill out 30 $10 boxes for $300 before they could be turned in to be eligible for the raffle drawing.
