St. Helens, OR – The idea started last year. Community supporter, Vicki Bilton, owner, Columbia River Reception & Events at Meriwether Place mentioned it would be nice for those small businesses to have a storefront presence on Main Street for Shop Small Saturday. That idea turned into a plan for the upcoming 1st Columbia County Small Business Expo to celebrate Small Business Saturday on the Nov 25th at Meriwether Place, 1070 Columbia Blvd. from 10-4. Keep It Local Columbia County & Partners are asking you to join us in celebrating Small Business Saturday at the Columbia County Small Business Expo.
Local artists and vendors will have items on hand to purchase. A special visit from Santa Claus will take place from 10 AM- 1 PM with other kids activities such as a cookie contest, and more. Join your community and start off the holidays by shopping local for the perfect gift made in Columbia County with love or from a local Columbia County business.
This expo is a fundraiser for the Columbia County K-9 Unit and Keep it Local Columbia County. The committee goal was to keep the vendor fee low to help increase profit margins at the show. This is a grass roots campaign the more you share on Facebook, promote and tell others the bigger the event. Please email [email protected] if you have ideas for Kids Activities or marketing. If you own a small business, go to https://keepitlocalcc.com/events/saint-helens/events/columbia-county-small-business-expo/ to view more information or download the application form. #holidaygifts #christmas #homemade #art #shopsmall #supportlocal #shopcolumbiacounty
