St. Helens, OR – Keep it Local Columbia County has partnered with KOHI 1600 AM Radio owner, Marty Rowe.  Marty has been supporting shop locally for many years.  In January 2017, Marty decided to volunteer with the Keep it Local Columbia County Committee.  KOHI 1600 AM has jumped right in as an inaugural partner for community outreach and showcasing local businesses while creating an income stream for Keep It Local Columbia County marketing project.

 

In January 2017, Chris Dahlgren, Discounts, and Deals started co-hosting the Dine Out Columbia County radio show which airs on Saturdays at noon.  The show is sponsored by FSA (Food Services of America) focuses on food and restaurants in Columbia County. In March 2017,  co-host Roni Barlett, from Strange Birds Coffee House joined Dine Out Columbia County which changed the show’s dynamic hosting from an industry perspective.   Marty decided to partner with Keep it Local Columbia County to create their own show in June 2017 to showcase additional businesses across Columbia County.   Keep It Local Columbia County, Director, Natasha Parvey said, “We are so lucky to have such generous media partners.  KOHI has been great. We look forward to helping other businesses grow.  Plus, the show provides a revenue stream for the project as proceeds from the ads sold or donations go directly to fund Keep it Local Columbia County.
