Columbia County, Oregon- CCET (Columbia County Economic Team) and Keep It Local Columbia County (KILCC) spearheaded their 5th Annual six-week “Catch the Holiday Spirit Across Columbia County” marketing campaign that involved 86 businesses working together to promote shop local during the 2020 holiday season.
Special thanks to our citizens who shopped local, ordered take out, gave local during the holidays, and for participating in the campaign sponsored by Wauna Credit Union. The drawing was done on January 6th for over $900 worth of prizes. Congratulations to the winner of the $150 CC Grand Prize Gift Card, Amy Ross, and all the other 19 winners from Columbia County that received $50 gift cards.

When we all work together, we can share the importance of why shop locally.
We collected 280 completed “Spirit Cards” from the campaign tracking $56,000 spent with participating businesses. For every dollar spent locally, it’s respent 6 times another reason to shop local!
This year we introduced a new digital catalog called the Holiday Gift Guide which helped increase our business’s online presence suggesting gift ideas that could be purchased either online or by contacting the business for purchase. The best gifts are from Columbia County.
