We are the local food pantry and resource center for the 97048 zip code. We offer food boxes for those in need. We also have a variety of resources which include help with utilities, gas vouchers for medical appointments, propane for heating and cooking, rental assistance, deposit help, applications for LIHEAP (energy assistance), SNAP, OHP, TANF, etc., food for the Backpack program which provides weekend food for school age children, and so much more! Our hours are Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 – 4:00 and the last Saturday of each month from 10:00 – 12:00.
We also have a low cost thrift store, HOPE Chest Neighborhood Thrift Store located at 107 E 1st St. Rainier, OR that offers household items, clothing, bedding and many other items. Clothing vouchers available for those in need. Thrift Store hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & the 1st and 3rd Saturday from 10-4.
